Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor never let it rest. The two former double champs keep going back and forth on Twitter. Both of them take direct shots at each other, which are both personal and outright amusing at times.

Henry Cejudo has been talking about an octagon return for a while now. He’s stated that he wants to fight Alexander Volkanovski, Max Holloway, and Petr Yan as well. Despite having friction with UFC president Dana White, Cejudo still hopes to fight for the right amount of money. 

‘Triple C’ is known to make a majority of his shots on his Twitter platform and his podcast titled ‘The Triple C & Schmo’ show. On the show, fighters and developments in MMA are discussed in detail. Amidst the ongoing conflict, these two fighters have Triple C made a bold statement on his show. 

Hey, @TheNotoriousMMA let’s make a deal. I’ll fight you at 155 pounds on one condition — You have to stay sober. 🍻 If you can do that, I’ll agree to measure at 5’4″ or under and start the fight on my back. Also Keith Peterson can’t ref. Fair?” Tweeted Cejudo.

In his podcast, he went into where the recent conflict between the both of them began. Things escalated after Conor McGregor called Henry Cejudo a “Sk** mark.” After a few tweets back and forth, Cejudo proceeded to call McGregor out for a fight at 155 if the Irishman could stay sober. 

Talking about not deserving a top spot in his episode discussion, this is what Triple C had to say in his episode. “Let me tell you something. I’m so glad that we didn’t give Conor Mc Tapper the gold medal moment because, you know, he’s nothing but a damn bronze medalist if that. He’s a ribbon holder in my eyes.”

Following this, he continued, “I tell you what Conor McGregor, I will literally let me make you a deal I will literally go up to 155 pounds to fight you if you’re willing to be sober for the fight what’s up?… I think that’s a great fight I think that’s a great negotiation tactic.

Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor: Core bitterness against each other 

Double champs usually have a show of mutual respect for one another.However, Cejudo and McGregor are two individuals who have a very bitter relationship. Their spat began when Cejudo dissed Conor McGregor’s training and asked him to stay away from “Yes men.”

The Irishman did not take this the right way and proceeded to berate and insult the former double champ on Twitter. Ever since then, the two of them have been going back and forth on their social media platforms. 

Here’s another instance of the Irishman and Triple C taking shots at each other.

Henry Cejudo, however, applauded Conor McGregor for becoming a double champ years before. Since then, things have changed a lot, and Cejudo has changed his views about McGregor.

Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor might have been on great journeys in their professional careers, but they currently have no grounds to relate to and respect each other. The spat is still hot and might go for a while.
