In order to prepare for his move to the HW division, Jones has now moved to Fight Ready MMA gym. There he trains with the former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo.

Henry Cejudo has made a prediction about how Jones would fare in the UFC’s HW division. According to Cejudo, Jones would overwhelm the HW division and eat them like breakfast.

Jon Jones had relinquished the UFC LHW championship after his razor-close fight with Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 Jones vs. Reyes, which he won by unanimous decision. Jones now wants to become the HW champion.

Jones had called out Brock Lesnar after his win over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214. He won the fight via TKO in the third round, which was later overruled to a no-contest when Jones failed the drug test. Henceforth, the fight never materialized.
