Former UFC bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo took to social media and sent a message to Dana White and the UFC. Chiefly, Cejudo teased a return to active competition and listed out possible candidates. Henry Cejudo has flirted with the idea of making a comeback on many occasions; now, he’s finally laying a roadmap back to the top.

In fact, Cejudo’s venture back to the UFC seems to be driven by the need to capture yet another title. The former Olympian has been chasing the status of ‘C4’ and has stated that the main reason for his comeback would be to fight Alexander Volkanovski. What’s more, the two have gone back and forth on social media on many occasions teasing a potential fight.

With names like Deiveson Figueiredo and Aljamain Sterling included in his hit list, Henry Cejudo is once again chasing greatness. He’s already dismantled former champions like Dominick Cruz and TJ Dillashaw and is looking at the current crop of elites. Fans of ‘Triple C’ will wait with bated anticipation to see if he secures the match-up he desires.

As mentioned before, he’s already secured wins over dominant forces and his run after beating Demetrious Johnson is a thing of legend. There’s no question as to whether fans will tune if and when he strikes a comeback deal with the UFC.

While Sterling doesn’t have a fight booked, he’ll almost certainly rematch with Petr Yan upon his return. Given the landscape of the respective decisions, it’s highly likely that Deiveson Figueiredo could be the first champion to make a viable bout with.
