What’s more, fans were quick to speculate that Cejudo’s retirement was an attempt at contract negotiation with the UFC. However, around six months removed, ‘The Messenger’ is still very much on the shelf with no plans to return. However, he now fires heavy artillery at several top fighters currently on the roster.
The aforementioned champions in Petr Yan and Alexander Volkanovski have been frequent targets of Cejudo when it comes to trolling. ‘No Mercy’ Yan captured Cejudo’s vacant 135-pound title and Henry had always expressed a sentiment to become a three-division champion. Thus, Volkanovski also joined the ranks as cannon fodder for Henry Cejudo’s online bashing.
Furthermore, he put forth his attention to several boxers fighting in the lower weight classes. Ryan Garcia has been a name that fans who follow Henry will be aware of. The two elite athletes have gone back and forth on several occasions and have talked about fighting each other.
