Former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo is not happy with the UFC and Dana White. Cejudo, who opted for retirement, has been teasing a comeback as he wants to win a title in a third division. Therefore, he is interested in fighting for the featherweight title.

But things don’t seem to be going his way. Hence, in a new interview with Helen Yee, ‘The Messenger’ took a dig at the UFC and used Georges St-Pierre as a contrast to his situation.
He said, “No, I’m going after that featherweight title. Like getting the bantamweight title, that’s just, that’s that stepping stone that I get up to what I would, what I really want. So that’s the way I see it.”
“Give me Volkanovski for what I’ve done, you know. But they’re not going to give him to me, man, like I’m not GSP, you know what I am saying? I don’t have good hair, I don’t know what the hell it is.”

Cejudo and bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling recently appeared on Daniel Cormier’s YouTube channel. As both seemed eager to fight each other in the Octagon, fans might see ‘Triple C’ back in the bantamweight division.
However, he is determined to get the featherweight title and has been taking digs at featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. ‘The Great‘ is currently on a long winning streak and is undefeated in the UFC; Cejudo has experienced only two losses in his MMA career.

Thus, Volkanovski versus Cejudo would be a great matchup.
Does Henry Cejudo want the Conor McGregor fight?
Cejudo and Conor McGregor have been beefing on social media. While ‘The Messenger’ wants to come back from his retirement, the Irish fighter is looking for a return to the Octagon after a devastating injury. However, a fight between them is unlikely because of the differences in their weight classes.

Besides this, both the athletes have been double champs in the UFC. As a result, there seems to be a race between the two to conquer another weight division.
