Prior to that, he lost back-to-back fights against Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje. Ferguson did not look good in these fights. Ferguson, who at one point was on a 12 fight win streak, has not won a fight since June 2019. In fact, his last two wins are against fighters like Anthony Pettis and Cowboy Cerrone, both of them not in their prime.

Ever since his return to the octagon, after he blew his LCL prior to his unification bout with Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018, Ferguson has not fought the best fighters in the division. Ferguson, 37, still has the cardio to go with anybody in the division. Even though he lost the fight against Oliveira, he’s the only fighter to survive ‘Do Bronx’. Oliveira has finished 9 of his last 10 fights.
