2020 has been quite the year for everyone, especially within the world of sports. While COVID-19 forced every sporting league to shut down, Dana White kept the show running with limited facilities.

Well, it’s Christmas now, and UFC had a successful year, despite getting no gate sales to due to zero live attendance.

The promotion unveiled big events with successful financial outcomes, and the world titles have also seen dramatic shifts.

This Christmas eve will clearly be different for the UFC fans. Several scenarios have changed, but the only thing that remained common is the love for the sport.

The once invincible Tony Ferguson is on a 2-fight losing streak with 0 wins this year. Meanwhile, the drowning flyweight division is currently on the rise with an elite champion in Deiveson Figueiredo.

As we bid farewell to the year, there are numerous fights to look back at. That said, UFC community is now enjoying the Christmas while taking a step closer to 2021.

UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes posted a picture with her better half Nina Ansaroff and their newly born child. They sported the Santa caps and perfect red attires to wish a Merry Christmas day to their fans.

Flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko kept it short, adding a simple picture and a holiday wish in the caption.

The newly crowned UFC light heavyweight champion called it as an absolute family time, as he is spending time with his wife and the little child. “Let’s cut off all the mess that surrounds us and enjoy the moment guys. Merry Christmas!,” wrote Blachowicz.

Reyes posted a video from his mom’s home as he spent the Christmas eve with her. It comes as no surprise, as the light heavyweight top-dog is a champion by heart.

The ‘Notorious’ has his big return against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257. However, Christmas was all about family. The UFC giant posted pictures of his fiancée and children to showcase their festive mood.

Vanquishing Tony Ferguson was a cherry to the cake for Oliveria’s year-end. He further spent some quality time with family as the coming year awaits bigger things.
