McGregor had even talked about how he would love to overtake Messi and once again become the highest-paid athlete of the year. He wrote, “He be hard to beat this year on the Forbes list without one more fight in the book. But that said don’t count me out. We are only 2 months into this new Forbes fiscal year and I already have his year’s wage boxed off hahaahahahaha.”

Will Conor McGregor fight again this year?

Conor McGregor faced Dustin Poirier at the UFC 264 event and broke his leg during the fight. As a result, ‘Notorious’ has been medically suspended until 2022. However, if the fighter is cleared by a doctor and is deemed fit before that, he can still compete by the end of the year.
