Memorial Day is a day of gratitude for Americans as they thank their fallen military personnel. However, UFC veteran Tim Kennedy had a different message for his followers on this memorial day.

Kennedy fought under the UFC, WEC, and Strikeforce, among other organizations. The 43-year-old holds an 18-6 professional record with wins over the likes of Michael Bisping, and Robbie Lawler.

Fans react to Tim Kennedy’s Memorial Day message

On his Instagram, Tim Kennedy shared a short clip as a part of Memorial Day celebrations. The clip was a compilation of brave acts from common men who courageously stepped up and helped other human beings in distress. The compilation included a man saving someone from a drowning car, a bus driver and a homeless man both interfering and stopping suicide attempts, and an athlete entertaining a differentially abled fan.

In the caption, Tim Kennedy wrote, “A bus drivers, a homeless man, an athlete, someone passing by… heroes come in every shape and size. #memorialday #heroes”
