Israel Adesanya already has plans for his post-MMA career. The former UFC middleweight champion is set to face rival Alex Pereira in a rematch for the title in April. Adesanya will look to turn the tide and get one over Pereira after losing to him three times in his career. Adesanya has been one of the most dominant champions in the UFC. He has dominated the UFC middleweight division since debuting. He beat the highly talented Robert Whittaker for the title and even began lapping his division during his title reign.

Although he fell short in his quest for dual champ status, Adesanya held his fort in the 185 lbs division until his most fierce rival chased him down there as well. With his mind now completely free from any inhibitions, the 33-year-old is ready to face ‘Poatan’ again.

Recently, Adesanya got new tattoos. He also shared videos of him getting the tattoos. In one of those clips, he talked to his tattoo artist on ‘The Kamikaze’ about life after fighting. Interestingly, ‘Stylebender’ revealed an interest in Hollywood. Specifically, he wanted to do what one actor did exceptionally well.

While talking to his tattoo artist, Adesanya said, “I’m focused only on fighting but after fighting I’ve got so many alleys I can dab into just to express. I definitely would do a motion picture at one point just to get that off the list, tick that on the bucket list.”

He continued, “Main thing I want to do is motion capture. You know Andy Serkis? The guy that did Gollum, Caesar, King Kong… I’m not gonna take his job.”

Adesanya explained his fascination for Serkis’ work saying, “He’s a f***ing legend but I can mimic… I got my own style of the way that chimps, gorillas, jaguars, dragons- the way they move, the mannerisms.”

He added, “I’ve watched national geographic and animal planet for years. I can mimic these animals and just even create on my own, through my dance background, create movements. It’s unlimited movement you know?”

It’s interesting to see this side of Adesanya. Being a masterful striker inside the cage, it is no surprise that Adesanya has an affinity for different kinds of movements. His movement in the cage was paramount to his success as well.
