Sean Strickland is arguably the man who took up the mantle to judge the toughness and the manliness of various personalities. This time, it was the rising star of Ireland, Ian Garry. Dubbed the ‘Next Conor McGregor‘, Garry carries the hopes of many fans on his shoulders. Howbeit, Strickland’s words were, in fact, enough to send the world of mixed martial arts into a frenzy.
While the world of combat sports is one where the athletes need to prove their toughness in the fights, the warriors are often scrutinized based on their strength and fighting prowess. However, the UFC’s ‘Tarzan’ has acted as the judge and let the MMA world know who he thinks is an alpha or a beta male. He even criticized American society once, wherein he said that the Americans were soft.

Strickland recently appeared in an interview, wherein he called out ‘Machado’ and claimed that he was nothing but a beta male. The reason he deemed Garry to be a beta was the fact that he took up his wife’s last name. He said, “I don’t like the Irish guy, because he’s a f**king beta male. Didn’t he take his girl’s last name? Yeah, he took his girl’s last name.” He also puts out his verdict regarding Garry’s upcoming fight against Neil Magny at UFC 292. Nevertheless, he simply hoped that the Irish star would lose. He said, “So, Ian Garry, I think you’re gonna win. But you’re a f**king simp, bro and I f**king hope you don’t.”
