The two bumped into each other at the UFC 263 press conference. Ever since then, whenever his relationship with Nate comes up, the Mexican fighter has only good words for him. Recently, Moreno sat down with Ariel Helwani for MMA Hour, during which the same topic came up.

Ariel asked the flyweight champion, “

I wish they put you and Nate Diaz on the card together because it seemed like he was so nice to you.”

To which Moreno replied with, “

we need a stadium for that.” The Assassin Baby further praises Diaz, saying, “man he’s amazing. Uh, he’s a gangster. You know he’s real. He’s a gangster, but like I said before, real recognize real and you know it was like very nice with him.”

Continuing the good words Moreno said,

He went on to state that, “

Imagine if he put Nate Diaz in Anaheim with me. I mean, we need a stadium to take care of all the people.”

What went down at the UFC 263 conference between Brandon Moreno and Nate Diaz?

Nate Diaz and Brandon were both sharing spots at the UFC 263 fight card. During the pre-fight conference, people spotted Diaz smoking. Moreno was sitting right next to him. Later, Nate offered a puff to Moreno, to which he politely refused.

Prior to this, Diaz sent him some of his Diaz’s Represent Ltd clothing brand clothes. The Mexican fighter really appreciated this gesture. After the press conference, they met backstage, which instigated their friendship.
