Let us look back at when Rogan invited comedian Kevin Hart, and the two spoke about Michael Jordan, and his famous documentary on Netflix called The Last Dance.

In one podcast segment, Hart asked Rogan whether he had watched the Jordan documentary on Netflix. Rogan replied with a no. Hart then spoke about the documentary.

Hart praised Jordan saying, “He’s an alien. He’s one of us. He’s one of those aliens the other aliens identify with. And for people listening to me, when I say alien, you know, it’s a metaphor, people.”

He continued by adding, “He’s different. He’s f**king different. And what this shows you is how different MJ was. That man was a f**king winner.”

Hart explained how the documentary broke down how Jordan approached every obstacle in his way and tackled all his problems. He added, “He did it. We know why he did it. It’s not a coincidence that he’s a champion. It’s destiny.”

Hart also mentioned, “I’ve never heard Michael Jordan talk the way the documentary showed him talk.” He also appreciated Jordan’s passion for basketball and how seriously he took his profession.

To give an example of Jordan’s ego, Rogan spoke about how a basketball player took shots at Jordan after his retirement. Jordan took this personally and challenged the player to a one-on-one. Jordan then went on to destroy his opponent.

Rogan explained how Jordan was a rare example of narcissism and ego positively affecting an individual. Jordan’s never give up spirit, and relentless work ethic separated him from the rest. According to Rogan, Jordan was “one of the greatest if not the greatest basketball player of all time.”
