In an interview with BT Sport recently, Dana White revealed that the fighter that fans want to see fight most, after Conor McGregor, is Khamzat Chimaev. ‘Borz’ has been out of the cage for ten months since his first-round submission victory over Kevin Holland at UFC 279. 

Fans have been eager to see him back, and their prayers have been answered by the UFC. Chimaev is scheduled to face no. 7-ranked Paulo Costa in a middleweight bout with title shot implications.

And Khamzat Chimaev has released a video of himself training hard for the bout. The video showed ‘Borz’ practicing his boxing on a heavy bag, showcasing his speed, explosiveness, and power.

The 29-year-old has promised to make short work of Paulo Costa and threatened to make him cry. “I’m going to go smash this guy, make him cry,” he said of Costa.

Costa responded on the MMA Hour show on YouTube. ‘Borrachinha’ dismissed Chimaev’s comments and declared that he would beat Chimaev at his home. “He’s nuts. He’s crazy. He don’t say nothing relevant, nothing [that] makes sense. He’s crazy,” . Costa told Ariel Helwani. “I love him. He’s making me make money. He’s a good fighter. At the end, very deep at the bottom, he’s a good fighter. Let’s go. Let’s go there, beat him at his f****** house.” he added. Fans shared their thoughts in the comments to the Chechen’s video.
