Post their face-off, discussions about Conor McGregor and Mike Perry fighting each other in BKFC took over MMA social media. Never one to back down from a challenge, the Irishman declared he was game for a fight after facing off with Perry.

Recently, he also shared a lengthy Instagram post addressing his night out at BKFC and his love and approach to the fight game. Now, ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry has given his account of what it was like to share the ring with Conor McGregor in that unexpected face-off.

Following a successful outing at BKFC 41, Mike Perry appeared on ‘The MMA Hour’ and gave his thoughts about the Conor McGregor incident. Undoubtedly, McGregor is the money fight in the MMA scene. ‘Mystic Mac’ carries that star power wherever he goes. And Perry is no different from the other stars who want a chance at a red panty night.

The 31-year also said that McGregor was itching to have a go inside the ring during the face-off –  “We were in the ring and he was ready to punch me right then.”

After Face off With Mike Perry at BKFC, Fans Dub Him a “Goner” as Conor McGregor Pulls Yet Another Bewildering Stunt on Twitter

He continued, “It was my moment that night. And I got the last word, because when Conor left the ring- yeah he got the belt, but I got my belt, platinum over gold baby- when they left eh ring, they put the mic back in my face…”

Perry also believes that he left a lasting impression on McGregor- “He’s talking about it on Instagram, he’s posting about it, he’s interested in it, he knows it looked exciting, he knows it looked fun.”
