American rapper Post Malone recently drew a lot of attention due to his dramatic weight loss. During his appearance on the JRE podcast, he told Joe Rogan that some people had reacted negatively to his new look. While some went so far that they have leveled allegations of drug use at Malone.

Post Malone is one of the biggest rappers of the current generation. The Syracuse native has gone platinum seventeen times post his rise to fame during the mid-2010s. However, he has not been in the news for his work lately, but rather for his appearance. Talking about it to Joe Rogan on the #2018 episode of the million-dollar ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast, the rapper broke down to tears. Let’s see what he had to say.

Post Malone opens up on claims of drug use

In the podcast, the 28-year-old rapper indicated that he had been struggling for an extended period of time. However, his life took a turn for the better when his baby daughter was born. This event drastically changed his life and perspective, and he believed he became more energized. But then he had to face the accusations of using drugs. He said, “I had my baby and I’m in a great f*king spot. And then the first thing that happens is like, ‘Oh he’s on f**ing drugs.”

He recognizes that there are individuals who sincerely worry about his well-being and health. However, the rapper also indicated that there are those individuals as well who continually take shots at him and use him as an example of a drug abuser. As he added, “I know that there’s people that genuinely care… but there’s also people that are just like, ‘Alright kids, this is what f***ing meth looks like.'” 

Malone claims people are mean on social media

Post Malone made one thing clear, and that is the fact that he does not indulge in any kind of hard drugs. And drugs have nothing to do with his physical transformation. Post Malone said, “[I am] definitely not on meth. Definitely not on any hard drugs.”

He also put emphasis on the belief that nobody has the right to assume anything about anyone. “First off, it’s nobody’s business. Second off, don’t just f**king assume everything,” said Post Malone.

Malone also added how people on social media also have the luxury of never answering for their unruly behavior. “People are just mean in general online. You never have to face repercussions,” said the 28-year-old artist.
