UFC President Dana White was all praise for the TUF 29 bantamweight finale winner Ricky Turcios. Turcios, who earned a split decision over Brady Hiestand on the main card of UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs Chikadze, received the throne. The fight itself was a treat to watch, as it was nothing short of war.

Turcios has now put the bantamweight division on notice with his incredible win. Also, ‘Pretty’ has a personality that few can match. This has forced fight fans to be more invested in him. Hence, they will definitely tune in to watch whenever Turcios is in action.

White was also left impressed with Turcios’ performance. It seems like he is quite a fan of the bantamweight fighter as well. In fact, the UFC President went on to compare him with a certain Diego Sanchez.

He’s our Diego Sanchez 2.0. He’s tough. I mean, those kids fought their a**es off and I am looking forward to see what he does here,” said White about Turcios. It is quite clear that the bantamweight fighter has the personality. Now, it remains to be seen if he can follow Sanchez’s footsteps and become a renowned star.

While The Ultimate Fighter show returned after a long absence, TUF 29 itself managed to garner good feedback from the fans. Contestants like Turcios and Brady are the primary reasons behind the success. Following this season’s success, the UFC President indicated that they are planning to host one show every year.

White said that they are looking to see at which weight class they can host the show next term and the coaches will be decided accordingly. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see what he has planned for Turcios next.
