Greg Hardy is all set for his next fight in the ultimate fighting championship. The former Dallas Cowboys’ defensive end will clash against Tai Tuivasa at UFC 264 this weekend. However, in a recent interview, ‘The Prince of War’ expressed his disgust over a fellow heavyweight fighter Derrick Lewis.
While in talks with MMA Junkie Hardy said, “He ran his mouth. Say my name and I’m coming for you. The boss is going to send me. That’s a guy that wasn’t mentioned but decided to grace his fat, Popeyes, greasy chicken lips with my name when I was a peasant when I was a young child. What it would look like for me to go attack somebody that just came off the Contender Series right now?”

He added, “You’d be like, ‘Oh, he’s childish.’ But you guys let that man gyrate and beat little me? Nah, he needs to be handled. He’s an ex-con that doesn’t know when to shut up. I’m going to put him down when I need to. Of course, timing is everything. I’m still not there yet. I’m willing to admit he’s the better man right now, but he’s still a fatty.”
However, the drama came into existence after Derrick Lewis took a shot at the American fighter. Lewis passed few insulting comments on the ‘Prince of War’ in 2018.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Lewis said, “He’s a wife-beater. I’d like to get in there with him. I like knocking these wife beaters out. Yeah, I’ll fight Greg Hardy. It’d be like vice versa of him beating all the women; I’ll be beating him like he’s a woman.”

“I grew up watching my mom and stepdad fight watching about every single damn day fist fighting for the stupid stuff. I don’t tolerate stuff like that at all.”
Lewis is currently on a four-win streak and will fight Ciryl Gane next at UFC 265. However, it seems Lewis and Hardy have a personal animosity between them. And both the fighters can lead the enmity between them inside the octagon sometime soon.
