Joe Rogan has praised Christian Bale in the past for his role in the Batman trilogy. And it did not surprise any of the loyal JRE followers to see the 55-year-old hail the devoted star once again. In a conversation on Spotify show The Joe Rogan Experience episode #1871, with a veteran Hollywood film producer who has been behind the movies like ‘Batman’, ‘Superman Returns’ and many more, Rogan talked about Bale’s sheer commitment to his roles.

While Jon Peters said Michael Keaton was the best batman ever to grace the screens, Rogan had another of his favorite he put a shine on.

Joe Rogan praised Christian Bale’s commitment

The MMA analyst often takes time to highlight other people’s work that he enjoys. Besides, being involved in an industry where weight management is a big factor, some of Christian Bale’s appearances wowed the JRE host.

After Peters mentioned Keaton as his favorite Batman, Rogan said, “Christian Bale is a pretty f**ing good Batman too… That guy was willing to do things that most people are not willing to do, like he’s willing to get fat; He’s willing to like almost die of starvation.”

The BJJ and Taekwondo black belt holder continued, “If you watch the Machinist, which is not the best movie, but what’s interesting about the movie is just Christian Bale. He’s basically a skeleton… and six months later he’s batman, jacked.”

According to Men’s Health, the Batman trilogy star dropped 25 kg in a span of just 4 months. His daily diet included a black coffee, one apple, and a tin of tuna during this time.

Since making weight is an important play in Rogan’s field of expertise, i.e., MMA. The veteran commentator put Khamzat Chimaev on-the-spot right after his win at UFC 279.

The over 2-decade old UFC announcer does not shy away from asking the tough questions. And while ‘Borz‘ was on cloud nine after his impressive win at UFC 279 co-main event, Rogan brought him down with a burning question that all MMA fans had in their head.

“You came into this fight far overweight. What was that all about?” Rogan asked.

“I don’t care about that sh**,” the Swede tried to dodge the question. But the ‘professional fan‘ wanted to know the root of the massive weight miss that shuffled the entire card.

“I know you don’t care about that now but if you want to compete for the welterweight title, it’s important that they know you can make 170 lbs,” a fierce Rogan said.

Chimaev stated the doctors stopped him from cutting his weight. Although his coach opposed ‘physicians’ involvement.
