Michael Chandler shares Joe Rogan’s video praise

Joe Rogan recently had the opportunity to host stand-up comedian Shane Gillis. The duo delved into a three-hour-long conversation covering various topics. During their discussion, they chose to focus on Michael Chandler’s recent fight against Tony Ferguson. While watching the clip of the fight, Rogan asserted that Chandler was too aggressive in that particular bout.

“That Chandler knockout was rough. Got front-kicked right in the jaw. There’s a photo of Chandler’s foot connected to Tony’s face. It’s wild, it’s wild to look at what happens to someone’s face when a foot impacts their fucking jaw.” said Rogan. He further emphasized that Chandller’s quads have to be one of the best in the UFC lightweight’s roster.

Rogan further added, “That’s a perfect kick, and look at Chandler’s quads, there’s so much power in that, good lord. Look at his body. He is a ball of tense muscles just exploding in your face.”. Rogan’s last remark earned a chuckle from Gillis, but also apparently from Chandler himself, alongside Kamaru Usman.

You heard that right, Chandler reshared the exact clip of Rogan’s statement on his Instagram handler and captioned it as “Wait for it…what did @joerogan say to @shanemgillis ?”. Usman commented on that reshared video by Chandler with laughing emojis.

Rogan interviewed Chandler after his front-kick KO victory over Tony Ferguson at UFC 274. Rogan emphasized that the knockout was one of the best that he had ever seen and stated that Chandler was a beast for that. “Chandler’s a berserker. He’s a wild man. That knockout of Tony Ferguson was the most intense head-kick knockout I think I’ve ever seen.” said Rogan.

He further added “Because it’s rare that a guy of Ferguson’s level just gets flatlined with a head kick like that. And to have it be a front-kick. ‘DC’ said it best, it wasn’t even like a regular front kick, it was like he kicked a soccer ball.

Rogan’s appreciation of Chandler was palpable considering the way he knocked out ‘El Cuccy’. Nonetheless, the fans are surely looking forward to witnessing the beast in action once again, only this time against ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor. So what are your thoughts on this?
