Belal Muhammad (#5 in the UFC welterweight rankings) is an extremely skilled fighter. Unfortunately, he can get written off as more of an undertone in the UFC as his ranking isn’t enough to create the proper noise. However, he frequently tries to create noise as he targets Conor McGregor.

Belal Muhammad and Conor McGregor have had their differences in the business. The two of them previously have taken digs at each other on social media platforms. 

With both of them going at each other occasionally, it wasn’t surprising to see Belal Muhammad tweet a picture of a fighter punching McGregor in the face. ‘Remember The Name’ placed his own face on the other fighter’s face. 

“Next time I see Conor at a steakhouse,” tweeted Muhammad. The message in the picture stated, “His vision will be Dublin when he feels these proper 10.“

This dig was styled after the recent Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington incident outside the Papi Steak house at Miami Beach.

Conor McGregor once posted a video on his Instagram story where he was hysterically laughing at the welterweight for no apparent reason. Belal Muhammad then posted another story of McGregor getting choked out in the octagon at UFC 229. 

As usual, taking digs at the biggest name in the UFC is always likely to stir the pot. Moreover, McGregor has been making comments about wanting to fight for the welterweight title. Who knows, perhaps, Belal Muhammad is trying to get in on some of the Irishman’s payday?

Of course, getting to the Conor McGregor fight is no simple feat. The Irishman has racked up millions of dollars for the promotion with his talent for entertainment alone. Belal Muhammad would have to up his talking game in order to create a media storm for people to watch this fight.

Despite McGregor wanting to fight Usman directly for the title, Belal Muhammad would be a perfect choice. This is because Muhammad would be a good opponent if the Irishman were to try to make his entry into the welterweight division.

With that being said, however, Muhammad has a long way to go, even in the rankings, to entice the UFC’s biggest cash cow to share the octagon with him.
