Former UFC interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier shared a wholesome moment with his wife Jolie Poirier over Twitter.

‘The Diamond’ is coming off a loss at UFC 269 against reigning lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, whom he challenged after making quick work of ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor at UFC 264 in their trilogy.

Currently, Poirier is in talks with the UFC for a scrap against the Stockton native, Nate Diaz. Regarding the same, Poirier was in a question-and-answer session with his fans on Twitter.

While the former interim champion was discussing the degree of violence in his and Justin Gaethje’s rematch and how he’ll be stopping Nate Diaz in their bout, his wife gave him a quick reminder.

“@DustinPoirier when do you plan on folding some clothes & packing up this place? Asking for a friend,” Jolie Poirier Tweeted while tagging ‘The Diamond’.

However, the Louisiana native was too busy talking with his ‘friends’ and what followed was a humorous reply. “Hold that noise, I’m talking to my friends,” ‘The Diamond’ wrote, replying to his wife.

Jolie Poirier has been a pillar of support for ‘The Diamond’ ever since he started his career. And continues to remain by his side in every one of his fights.

Who is Dustin Poirier’s wife, Jolie Poirier?

Jolie Poirier is the co-founder of Dustin Poirier’s charity, The Good Fight Foundation. Currently, she serves as the Vice President/Director of the organization. The pair have been married since September 4th, 2009. The couple has a beautiful daughter named Parker Noelle Poirier, who they welcomed into the world on August 20, 2016.

Jolie Poirier, born Jolie Le Blanc, met Dustin when he was still in school. Although Dustin dropped out of school at 15, Jolie remained by his side and decided to tie the knot with Dustin at the age of 21.

Jolie is a big fan of the combat sport and has been by ‘The Diamond’s side since the start of his career. Dustin has also repeatedly mentioned that she is his support system and one who constantly motivates him to do better.

“My wife’s been there since the first fight when I was 18. Those times you asked if I ever thought about stopping, she is the one who said ‘You Can’t,'” Dustin told Brendan Schaub in an interview.

As of now, Jolie also helps her husband with his business venture, Poirier’s Louisiana style hot sauce, as the couple continues their married life with their daughter.
