MMA fans and netizens online were subject to a rather disturbing clip of a former MMA fighter by the name of Dylan Kammeraad. The footage, which was released very recently, came as a shock after it exposed how Kammeraad got treated at the time of his arrest back in 2012.

Along with the shocking nature of it, what surprised fans was before his arrest, Kammeraad, now 33, had previously fought and beat the current UFC light heavyweight champ Jamahal Hill. In a tweet, expressing his shock and disappointment at the news, Hill claimed Kammeraad was one of the toughest men he had the opportunity to face in his career.

Hill’s disappointment at finding out about the arrest and subsequent developments that followed was quite apparent in his tweet. Showing his sadness at how Kammeraad’s life panned out, the light heavyweight champ commended the former fighter on his toughness. Comparing his grit to none other than the legend Glover Teixeira, who Hill beat recently, the champ tweeted:

“Yo this is wild asf I know and fought this dude as an amateur and was the toughest dude I’ve ever before Glover our fight is online and to hear this is why he just vanished and didn’t fight again is sad asf!!! Hope you get justice bro!!!”

The clip now doing the rounds of social media drew reactions from not just the MMA community but from different sections of society. Quite a few commentaries have also been made on the controversial footage of Kammeraad.

One such video, published by ‘Indisputable with Dr. Rashad Richey’ on YouTube, drew major reactions from people. A majority of them expressed their disappointment with the authorities, and naturally so because of what the footage revealed.

People showed their discontent and wished Kammeraad would eventually find justice in the future.

A couple of comments wondered if the MMA fighter could have taken on the cops by himself.

Following the release of the footage, many have called for the people involved to be held accountable. And with the involvement of the light heavyweight champ; hopefully, we can witness Dylan Kammeraad receive the justice he is naturally due.
