Dana White opines about UFC 282 co-main event
During the post-fight press-conference, Dana White was asked about his thoughts on Paddy Pimblett’s fight against Jared Gordon. The UFC president replied, “Same thing! You know what I mean? I thought that Jared Gordon’s gameplan in the third round was horrible.” Furthermore, he said, “He felt like he had the first two rounds, and he went in and pushed him against the fence.”
White additionally slammed the referee for letting Gordon simply stand against the fence. He said, “I gotta go after the ref, too, you know. A bi fight, co-main event, third round, crowd is going crazy and you’re going to let him stand against the fence, the entire fight!” Then, White concluded that these things in fact happen a lot and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
