Agdal alleges that Danis committed two counts of disclosing intimate images and one count of invasion of privacy. Agdal is invoking the “revenge porn statute” under the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization of 2022, alongside a New Jersey privacy law, to hold Danis accountable for his actions.

Agdal’s legal representatives, Joseph B. Shumofsky and Linxuan Yan of Sills Cummins & Gross P.C., assert that Danis engaged in relentless cyber harassment and bullying by posting nonconsensual, sexually explicit photographs of Agdal on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. The explicit image, taken over a decade ago without Agdal’s consent, prompted her to seek legal redress. Furthermore, the lawsuit seeks damages exceeding $150,000, including profits made by Danis from his derogatory posts, in addition to restraining orders against any individuals affiliated with Danis, who have been involved in his campaign of harassment and threats to release further compromising content.
