While we deservedly know Aldo for his in-ring abilities, there is something else about the fighter that catches the eye whenever you see him. That thing is the big scar ‘Junior’ has on his cheek.

How did Jose Aldo get his unique scar?

Aldo got his scar when he was a child, and it happened in a very bizarre incident. ‘Junior’ and his family were at a family party when his elder sister took his crib and threw it at his other sister. However, what she did not realize was that Aldo was in the crib at that moment.

The crib went and hit a lit barbecue, on which Aldo hit his head and was scarred for life. In an interview, Aldo had talked about this very incident. He said, “They were playing around and threw me in there. It was hot. I was a little baby. They were little kids. There was another time when my little sister broke my head. I have all kinds of stories.”
