Jose Aldo is all set to enter his 37th professional MMA fight this weekend. The MMA legend will face Pedro Munhoz at the UFC 265 event. Aldo is coming into the fight on the back of a singular victory after 3 consecutive losses. Therefore, ‘Junior’ would look to win this fight and continue the winning momentum.

As Aldo has an incredible MMA record, many people often consider him to be the greatest Featherweight fighter in the world. The former 3-time UFC featherweight champion was also the fourth and final WEC Featherweight champion.

The fighter has an incredible MMA record of (29-7) and is No.5 in the UFC bantamweight rankings. As Aldo has not been in the best of forms recently, many believe his fight against Munhoz is his last opportunity to prove that he can still compete at the top level of MMA.

While we deservedly know Aldo for his in-ring abilities, there is something else about the fighter that catches the eye whenever you see him. That thing is the big scar ‘Junior’ has on his cheek.

How did Jose Aldo get his unique scar?

Aldo got his scar when he was a child, and it happened in a very bizarre incident. ‘Junior’ and his family were at a family party when his elder sister took his crib and threw it at his other sister. However, what she did not realize was that Aldo was in the crib at that moment.

The crib went and hit a lit barbecue, on which Aldo hit his head and was scarred for life. In an interview, Aldo had talked about this very incident. He said, “They were playing around and threw me in there. It was hot. I was a little baby. They were little kids. There was another time when my little sister broke my head. I have all kinds of stories.”

Aldo is now all set to face Pedro Munhoz at the UFC 265 event. And as the fighter has not been in the best form recently, he would look to win this fight and garner some winning momentum.
