While champions Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall have their sights on their upcoming opponents, a couple of other heavyweights will butt heads in Saudi Arabia with a chance to inch closer to a title shot. The Russian duo of Sergei Pavlovich and Alexander Volkov will co-main event UFC on ABC 6, which promises to be an exciting matchup for the fans in Riyadh this weekend.

Both Sergei Pavlovich and Alexander Volkov have been knocking at the door for a title shot at the moment. Unfortunately for the former, he squandered his chance to win the interim title back at UFC 295 and is back in the hunt again. On the other hand, Volkov’s been collecting a few consecutive wins and has now landed in a spot with a former title challenger. But what are the financial upsides to this fight? Well, we don’t know for sure, but what we can do is make a rough estimation. Hence, let’s start with our first Russian star, Pavlovich.

What is Sergei Pavlovich’s payout at UFC Fight Night: Saudi Arabia?

In the latter half of 2024, Sergei Pavlovich will complete six years of association with the UFC. In his current run, he’s competed in a total of eight fights, and just like Conor McGregor and Ilia Topuria, he got the opportunity to go for a UFC title after six straight wins, although he couldn’t win it.

Nevertheless, Pavlovich has his own accomplishments inside the Octagon with a 100% finish rate, and those performances earned him a base salary of $500,000, which he earned in his fight against Tom Aspinall at UFC 295, including $300,000 from PPV buys and a total of $647,000.

Before that, Sergei Pavlovich had a crack at Curtis Blaydes, whom he knocked out in just over three minutes in the first round, and guess what? That knockout victory helped him secure a base salary of $350,000 and a total of $465,000. Hence, having looked at his biggest payouts, we can assume that the 32-year-old could make around $450,000 to $650,000 this weekend in Saudi Arabia. Now, it’s time to peek at Alexander Volkov’s details. Let’s check it out.

Alexander Volkov’s salary for his next UFC fight

Unlike his fellow Russian KO artist, Alexander Volkov has been with the UFC for quite some time now, two years more than Sergei Pavlovich, to be exact, and has amassed a record of 11-4 in the promotion. However, he’s never been able to take home more than Sergei Pavlovich has in a single fight until recently. The most that Alexander Volkov ever made from one fight was around $620,000, including bonuses, for dominating Tai Tuivasa at UFC 293. That’s the biggest payday he’s ever received, at least as per reports.

Alexander Volkov’s second biggest payout was $295,000, which he bagged when he fought current interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall. The paycheck also included sponsorship fees, and after this one, the third biggest paycheck was when the 35-year-old fought Alistair Overeem, and for that fight, he took home a total of $255,000. So it would be tough to make an estimation here as to what he’ll earn for the Sergei Pavlovich fight. But why? Because his biggest paycheck was a significant jump and if we had to make an estimation, Volkov could take home around $300,000 to $600,000 for his fight this weekend.
