Even though McGregor lost the bout in the tenth round via T/KO, he bagged a hefty amount of money through the fight. The latter was smiling in the post-fight conference, sipping on his whiskey as he made a fortune through the fight.

Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather’s fight was the second biggest fight to sell the most PPV. It sold over 4.3 billion PPV in the United States. The scrap ended after Mayweather knocked out McGregor in the 10th round of the bout. However, both the men bagged millions of dollars from the fight.

According to the reports, McGregor was paid 30 million dollars before the fight however, he received around 100 million dollars after the pay-per-view cuts. Whereas Mayweather made around 275 million dollars in the event. Both the fighters made a fortune for themselves from the fight.

Meanwhile, after ‘The Money Fight’, McGregor went on increasing his revenue through various other businesses, which made him one of the highest-earning athletes in the world.
