How Much Has Max Holloway Earned in His UFC Career? Earnings, Payouts, Net Worth & More

The former UFC featherweight champion, Max “Blessed” Holloway will go up a weight class to take on the BMF champ and former UFC interim lightweight champion, Justin Gaethje this weekend at UFC 300. Holloway has unfortunately failed in his last attempt to move up to the lightweight division as he lost to Dustin Poirier fighting for the interim lightweight champ. However, the Hawaiian looks to aim for a different result this time around.

Holloway has been around in the UFC for 12 years now, making his debut against Dustin Poirier at UFC 143 back in February 2012. Having fought in 28 UFC fights, here is how much “Blessed” earned throughout his UFC career.

Max Holloway when he joined the UFC made an estimate of $12000 in his loss against Poirier. In his next fight against  Pat Schillings, Holloway would earn an estimated total of $22,000. This would go on to increase as in his next two fights, “Blessed” would get an impressive hike of $30,000 and $34,000. Holloway’s 5th and 6th fight in the promotion would be losses against  Dennis Bermudez and Conor McGregor where he would get an estimated $24000 in both their fights.

Holloway’s fights against Will Chope, Andre Fili, and Clay Collard will be the fights he would start making decent money as he would earn estimated totals of $88,000, $54,000, and $60,000 respectively. The 32-year-old would hit his first 6 figure payday after beating Akira Corassani in his 10th UFC fight, making $120,000.

The former UFC champ would go on to beat Cole Miller, Cub Swanson, Charles Oliveira, Jeremy Stephens, and Ricardo lamas, getting an estimated total of 80,000, $140,000, $90,000, $100,000, and 160,000 respectively. He would then go on to face Anthony Pettis as the interim UFC featherweight champ where he would go on to get a base pay increase along with all the other bonuses and sponsorships, which would lead to him earning an estimated $260,000.

Holloway would then make $410,000 and $370,000 respectively in his title fights against Jose Aldo. “Blessed”  would then go on to earn his first PPV shares in a fight, earning an estimated 7 figure payday and making $1,050,000 against Brain Ortega at UFC 231. His move up to lightweight against Dustin Poirier wouldn’t be as successful, however, the Hawaiian w would get $440,000 in their fight. “Blessed would earn $390,000 on his title defense against Frankie Edgar at UFC 240.

Max Holloway would then make an estimated $990,000 and $380,000 in his back-to-back losses against Alexander Volkanovski. The Hawaiian would put on incredible performances at UFC Fight Island 7 and UFC Vegas 42, against Calvin Cattar and Yair Rodriguez, earning estimates of $470000 and $571,000. His 3rd fight against Alexander Volkanovski would end in a loss but, Holloway would still get paid an estimated $532,000 Holloway in his last two fights against Arnold Allen and Jung Chan-Sung was paid an estimated $1,000,000, and a guaranteed $421,000. Having fought 28 times in the UFC, Max Holloway certainly made some dough with the promotion. Holloway has had some of the most intense fights in the division. Over the 12 years in the promotion, Holloway has managed to earn a sum of an impressive 6 million USD.

The fight that made him the most money was his fight against Brian Ortega at UFC 231 i.e., an estimated $1,050,000, which in fairness wasn’t even his hardest or longest fight in the promotion.
