Surging contender Belal Muhammad finished off 2021 in style with a win over Stephen Thompson. ‘Remember The Name’ took on ‘Wonderboy’ at the last UFC event of the year. From the opener itself, Muhammad dominated Thompson via his superior grappling skills, which gave him a comfortable unanimous decision victory over the fan-favorite.

Following his victory, he decided to celebrate his achievements by trolling Jorge Masvidal.

‘Remember The Name’ walked into the octagon as #10 on the welterweight charts against #5 Stephen Thompson. However, after securing a win, he has now overtaken both ‘Wonderboy’ and ‘Gamebred’ to become the new #5 in the division. Below him is Masvidal at #6 and Muhammad took this opportunity to troll the UFC superstar.

He tweeted, “Top 5 in the world 👊🏻..how’s ur rib feeling @GamebredFighter🤔#teamfirstroundvsteamdominance”

Muhammad trolled Masvidal for his injury as ‘Gamebred’ had pulled out of a fight against Leon Edwards, citing a severe injury.

Currently, ‘Gamebred’ has suffered two consecutive losses against the undisputed welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. As a matter of fact, Jorge Masvidal (35-15) has been unable to win any bouts since 2019, where he won the BMF title against the Stockton-Native Diaz. Contrastingly, ‘Remember The Name’ is undefeated since 2019. Excluding his No-contest fight with Leon Edwards at UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Muhammad.

Belal Muhammad pulls off a ‘Khabib’ on Khamzat Chimaev

Belal Muhammad is turning out to be one of the hottest prospects in the welterweight division of the UFC. However, he has found his nemesis in Khamzat Chimaev. The two were bound to clash, as both are highly ranked and have the same aspirations for welterweight gold. Meanwhile, their rivalry has already taken shape in the virtual world.

Interestingly, Belal Muhammad pulled off a Khabib Nurmagomedov as he asked Dana White to send him Chimaev’s location in Nurmagomedov’s signature style.

He replied to a tweet mentioning Dana White’s comments on ‘Borz’. “Send me location @danawhite @seanshelby @ufc”

Meanwhile, this comes in as a response to Chimaev’s comment on a Belal Muhammad post where he wrote “Who is this gay”
