The former US president had previously made his mark in the world of professional wrestling in a memorable on-screen feud with the legendary promoter Vince McMahon in WWE. However, little did people know that he also competed as an amateur wrestler back in his younger years. Colby Covington revealed this during his conversation with Tucker Carlson.

“He tells me how he admires my wrestling abilities because he used to wrestle,” said the former UFC interim champion. He also mentioned that Donald Trump is a rather funny individual who is never short on jokes. He further stated, “He’s like, ‘Colby, you know what I love about you is that you’re a wrestler. I used to wrestle, but I was the wrestler who was counting lights at the gym.'”

Colby Covington claimed that the 77-year-old was being rather modest about his wrestling past and even made jokes about himself. “He was pretty much making a joke about himself that he was getting pinned. I was like, ‘Man, that’s very humbling for you to say something like that,'” ‘Chaos’ added.
