“I Almost Damn Near Killed Him” – Jorge Masvidal Unleashes a Scathing Rant on Nate Diaz

Jorge Masvidal has a message for Nate Diaz. The BMF champion and the Stockton native go way back, the two competed for the BMF championship at UFC 244 and headlined the MSG. It was one of the biggest fights of 2019.

In a Q/A with Jorge Masvidal on his Rumble account, ahead of his grudge match against former best friend Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington, Masvidal took care of another former rival.

Masvidal said, “I almost damn near killed him [Nate Diaz], I beat him an inch within his f**king skinny life. You saw his last fight with Leon [Edwards], I was like, man, they make that mistake and put this guy in there with me again, you know?”

The BMF champion beat Nate Diaz very convincingly at UFC 244. However, the fight was stopped due to a doctor’s stoppage after the third round. Though Masvidal outclassed Diaz in the first three rounds, the Stockton native believes he would’ve changed the direction of the fight in the fourth and the fifth rounds.

Nate Diaz wants the rematch against Jorge Masvidal

Nate Diaz has eyed a rematch ever since the first match. However, Jorge had other plans.

The BMF champion has since fought for the welterweight championship twice. After coming short against the welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, Jorge Masvidal is looking to get back to fighting the champion again for the third time. To do so, he was open to taking on anybody in the division.

Apart from all the spice around the Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal fight, this fight is between the number 1 ranked welterweight in the world against the number 6 ranked welterweight. Both of these are coming off a loss to the reigning champion, Kamaru Usman.

This is the toughest fight apart from the champion that Jorge Masvidal can get. Also, this matchup is looked at as a stylistic nightmare for the BMF champion.
