‘Borz’ delighted UFC fans with his latest victory against Li Jingliang at UFC 267. From the outset of the fight, ‘Borz’ completely dominated the Chinese fighter. He grabbed Jingliang and tossed him to the ground in front of Dana White to grab his attention. After that, he quickly submitted his opponent to claim his tenth professional win in 10 fights.

In his post-fight press conference, Khamzat told the media a little about the inspiration he’s taken from other fighters who he’s seen.

He said, “I am like Einstein for this game… I watch Khabib’s game, I watch Conor’s game, I watch Jon Jones and Alex. All the best guys, I (learn) something from them.”

Khamzat Chimaev on what’s next for him

Borz‘ is in the spotlight following his outstanding performance at UFC 267. Everyone was delighted to see him return to the octagon after his layoff due to COVID.

When asked about his future plans during a news conference following his triumph this weekend, Khamzat said, “I don’t know. Just wanna fight, bro. Fight, fight, fight. I love this sh** bro. I’m here and to fight and make money and be happy and give this sh** to you guys.”

“Well, for me it doesn’t matter which weight class bro. Just I give my word to my coach. I want to listen to these guys because this is my family, and he teach me and from day one… We go for 170, take this belt and go up, and don’t stop.”

‘Borz’ has been calling everyone out since his victory at UFC 267. He mentioned Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal as well. Based on his current performance, it is reasonable to predict that his next battle will be against someone higher up the ranks.
