Recently, Harrison appeared at the 2021 World MMA Awards, where she had a conversation with MMA Junkie’s Mike Bohn. Interestingly, the PFL champion revealed some insights from her meeting with the UFC officials.

In the interview, she said, “I had dinner with some people. It went really well. I had a great time, amazing hospitality, interesting conversation. What more could you want in Vegas?”

She added, “They did wine and dine me a little; I had a good time. They had like a specialty cocktail; it was fun. I want to announce that I am not telling any of you sh*t. That’s what I want to announce.”

A major reason many UFC fans want Harrison in UFC is the two-division champion, Amanda Nunes. The latter is the GOAT in the world of combat sports. However, many also consider Harrison as one of the best female MMA fighters.

Hence, a much-anticipated clash between them will end the debate. Also, both the fighters are teammates at the American Top Team. It is like the cherry on the cake for the fans to watch a clash between the teammates.

However, the UFC fans will have to wait for an official announcement. Meanwhile, for now, the PFL champion is backing her teammate for the win at UFC 269.

‘The Lioness’ is preparing for her next title defense in the UFC. She will take on the title challenger Julianna Pena in the co-main event of UFC 269. The Brazilian is a heavy favorite going in the title fight.
