Mike Perry and Bryan Duran barely escaped without a scratch even after engaging in a fairly heated battle of words. Well, ever since Conor McGregor ‘fired’ ‘Platinum’ from the Bare Knuckle Boxing Championship, things weren’t really going right for the former BKFC champ. And when he had an unforeseen meeting with ‘El Gallo’, things were quick to get heated. But thanks to Latory Perry, the heat never escalated to an altercation.
Visuals of the scuffle went viral on the internet. The visuals showed Perry’s significant other hugging him, while he was exchanging words with Duran. ‘El Gallo’ was visibly upset as he said, “You’re an a–hole.” The only thing that seemed to have prevented an altercation was Latory Perry’s presence. But when ‘Platinum’ pushed things further, even though he did say that he was sorry, Duran promised that things would get even more heated when he went up to the lightweight division. “I’m gonna be on the top of the world,” he claimed.
But Perry seemed to believe that ‘El Gallo’ was already a top-class boxer. He said, “You’re the best Puerto Rican boxer.” However, that was yet another mistake that he made. Duran was a Cuban fighter, not Puerto Rican. Nevertheless, things calmed down when Perry apologized and Duran responded with, “Love you, Mike.”

Mike Perry and Bryan Duran resolve their issues in the comments section
Soon, the video of the heated moment found its way to Instagram. When Mike Perry stumbled upon the video, he took to the comments section and wrote, “aight, I shared cuz I was happy to see you, then I realized you was calling me names but it’s all good, now I know you Cuban. We keep it movin.” ‘El Gallo’ replied that it was all because ‘Platinum’ was being mean to him. However, he was quick to admit his mistake and quote, “maybe I was wrong then Mike … I apologize for calling you names champ .. nothing but love and respect.”
In another comment, Perry claimed that he didn’t really know that there was a camera rolling. The only confusion he had was why Duran called him names. The featherweight tried to justify that he was simply trying to strike up a conversation with him. He was right out of a victory and was recovering from the aftermath of the battle against Kai Stewart. All he did was simply accept the collab request.
