“I Cannot Help but Be Saddened and Angry” – UFC World Condemns the Tragic Incident at Texas Elementary School

The UFC community condemned the tragic incident that went down in an elementary school in Texas. The reports suggest that the police took down a teenage gunman after he killed 19 school students and 2 adults.
The incident shocked the entire world. Subsequently, people from around the world sent their support to the families of the victims.

The details of the incident were even more frightening, as Texas state senator Roland Gutierrez noted the suspect had two rifles with him, which he bought on his birthday. Besides, he was wearing body armor, acknowledged DPS, Sgt Erick Estrada.

The MMA world sent their condolences and reacted to the news. Former UFC middleweight champion and UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping wrote, “Simply heartbreaking.” Besides, he shared a screenshot of an article referring to the incident.

Yet, some elements of social media tried to give the British MMA icon a hard time, even during such a matter. Bisping, though, only had this to say to them.
Last tweet- I know you don’t wanna hear me go on about tragedies like this. But as I sit here with a child of my own at elementary school I cannot help but be saddened and angry that this continues to happen. It should not be happening. Rip to all 14 children and the teacher.

Recently, the UFC middleweight and welterweight fighter, Kevin Holland, was present in an incident where he saw a man with a gun at a restaurant. But instead of finding a table to hide to save his life, the UFC phenom put the attacker on his back and took away their gun and other belongings.
This was Kevin Holland's reaction shortly after he and a friend took down a gunman Monday night at a restaurant in Houston.
