Joe Rogan has recently expanded his repertoire of projects by launching his very own comedy club, aptly named ‘Comedy Mothership’. The club is a haven for Rogan and his fellow comedians from the looming threat of cancel culture. Furthermore, the launch of the 55-year-old’s passion project has been met with resounding success, with the club attracting a steady stream of audiences and gaining a reputation as a must-visit destination for comedy enthusiasts.

However, during the club’s debut, the UFC commentator went overboard with his celebration and ended up getting drunk, going bonkers in the process. Nevertheless, has since come out saying that he cannot afford to repeat that, considering the routine of his new venture.

Joe Rogan can’t afford to mix drinking and comedy

During episode #1957 of the JRE, Rogan has his fellow comedian, Shane Gillis, as his guest who had the privilege of experiencing the ‘Comedy Mothership’ first-hand. The two shared stories of a fun night at the club, with Gillis highlighting having a blast with fellow comics and friends and getting drunk, and waking up with a hangover.

However, on that note, the JRE host put out clearly that he cannot get drunk every night anymore to maintain a certain level of responsibility.

He said, “The problem is like, we’re doing so many shows there. Like, I can’t be hungover. I can’t. I can’t go hard every night.”

Rogan‘s foray into the world of comedy clubs is a testament to his passion for all things funny. And with the ‘Comedy Mothership’ in his arsenal, there’s no telling where his creativity will take him next.

The out-of-the-world theme of ‘Comedy Mothership’

For almost two-and-a-half years, the ‘Comedy Mothership’ has been Joe Rogan‘s dream child. And he has spared no effort in making it stand out. Rogan has been the driving force behind the club’s unique design, ensuring that it reflects the club’s theme. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the club’s design is something to behold, with a UFO above the door in the lobby, warnings that says ‘Hecklers Will Be Alienated’, and a Stargate-like arch over the main stage.
