The city of Paris hosted the much-awaited UFC Fight Night event, which was the center stage for the heavyweight showdown between Ciryl Gane and Sergey Spivak. Nearly a year later, France hosted a UFC event, with fans attending the show to see their own ‘Bon Gamin’ battling it out to establish his prospects after a devastating defeat at UFC 285.

Obviously, this was not the only battle in the event to captivate the fans, as the contest featuring Morgan Charriere and Manolo Zecchini was seemingly able to put on a fierce showdown in front of the audience. Charriere however, came out on top, destroying the aspirations of Zecchini. What went on became an intriguing story.

A nightmare for Zecchini at UFC Paris

Both fighters came inside the octagon not only to secure a triumph but also to make a statement in the realm of the UFC. Charriere, who is a former Cage Warriors featherweight champion, was a special talent who had his eyes set on defeating Zecchini. Zecchini, however, came after two knockout victories, one after the other, and had the intention to secure his third as well. Both bruisers initiated with a fist bump as the first round began.

Relying on their strikes, both started the first round. However, Zecchini seemed to be quick with his kicks. Both exchanged heavy blows with each other. But the French, however, proved it with a solid front kick right to the gut, followed by another one into the same spot. He then went on to bang Zecchini with a barrage of brutal blows, further knocking him down. Indeed, in 3 minutes and 51 seconds of the first round, ‘The Last Pirate’ went on to prove himself. His emphatic triumph, in fact, attracted the response of fans that became intriguing to watch.

After years of hard work, the Frenchman went on to make a brutal statement in his debut bout. Seemingly his victory attracted the fans in numbers. And following are their reactions.

The victory indeed, could open doors for new opportunities for the 27-year-old. He seemed dominant in his first fight however; he has a lot to gain in his UFC journey.
