‘I Can’t Support This As Much as I Respect Zion’: MMA Fighter With No Legs Suspected of Rigging Fight After Debut Win

Zion Clark has added his name to the Guinness Book of World Records for being the fastest man to walk on hands, the person with the highest box jumps with hands, and the most diamond pushups in 3 minutes. The athlete has never failed to inspire the world. From the tattoo on his back that says, ‘NO EXCUSES’, to the motivational speeches and the superior performances, Clark has won the hearts of his followers. Recently, he clinched a decisive win in his debut MMA bout. His first MMA fight on December 17, 2022, shocked the world but raised some doubts in the minds of the fans. 

The celebrated former wrestler recently landed in the MMA cage against Eugene Murray, at Gladiator Challenge: Seasons Beatings. Even though it was his first professional fight, he seemingly outperformed his opponent and earned a unanimous decision from the judges.

Fans think the fight was rigged

Although many of his followers praised and congratulated him for the win, some believed that the bout was rigged. Here is what people said about the contest being rigged:

Although Clark seemingly faced some difficulties as the fight commenced, he held his ground with the intention to win. Murray was initially keeping a distance, too. However, within moments, as the distance closed between the duo, Clark grabbed Murray’s legs and took him down. Without a doubt, the takedown sent the crowd cheering.

Finally, the fight was in Clark’s domain. The 25-year-old warrior displayed his strength and superior wrestling skills with ease and earned a unanimous decision. The scorecards read 30-27 for all three judges.

The former collegiate wrestler shut down every voice that rose against him with his performance in the cage. Clark made sure that his disability did not come in the path that leads to his success. The ambitions he holds have never failed to amaze the world. 

Clark suffers from caudal regression syndrome. It is a rare condition where the development of the lower body is impaired. However, having no legs didn’t stop the star, as he kept on breaking records and proving people wrong.
