The cool, calm, and collected Joe Rogan we know today wasn’t necessarily the same person when he was a young man. The 55-year-old claims to have been somewhat irresponsible during his 20s. He revealed his antics as a young man in a recent episode of his podcast.

The commentator-cum-podcaster-cum-comedian has garnered a lot of influence since establishing himself as one of the biggest podcast hosts ever. Furthermore, Rogan’s opinions, which he takes full responsibility for, and discussions on some of the most interesting topics keep the fans glued to his show. However, things weren’t always the same for him; especially as a young chap.

Joe Rogan revealed the change in his mentality
During the #1996 episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ with guest former Navy SEAL Andy Stumpf, Joe Rogan talked about the time when the only person whom he had to look after was himself. He said, “I was in my 20s and I didn’t have any real responsibilities other than feeding myself.” He added, “I had healthcare so I was like, ‘Let’s go!’”
However, in due course, he had a shift in his mentality. After marrying his wife, Jessica Ditzel, and having three kids, he started to take on some responsibilities. Moreover, his employees, spanning his several businesses, also depend on him.

The UFC commentator is a busy man
Rogan claims to be busier than he ever was. It is evident with the consistent release of his podcast episodes and his appearances during UFC events. The 55-year-old has become a key player in the broadcast team after joining the promotion as a backstage and post-fight interviewer for US-based PPV events.

Rogan said, “I have a lot of stuff going on. A lot of people that I have to support and take care of.” However, he likes the way his life is right now. He added, “This is cool, I like it, but I kinda still operate the same way. I just keep the foot to the gas.”

Joe Rogan is more popular than ever. He has garnered a lot of fans and he has a million-dollar podcast. Things seem to be moving in the right direction for him.
