Taking to her Instagram following the backlash from her win against Lucie Pudilova, Joselyne Edwards released a statement expressing her gratitude towards her fans who celebrated her victory, as well as her opponent. First, she thanked her supporters, but post that, she addressed all the criticism she was receiving.

The 27-year-old also discussed the hate she received, stating, “stop the insults and hatred and all that bad energy towards me. I didn’t make the decision, at the end the W I have, I can’t do anything against. I WILL ONLY SAY SOMETHING TO THE FANS, IF THEY WANT TO BE RESPECTED RESPECT ALSO!”

The Panamanian fighter also put forth a wish for a rematch against Lucie Pudilová and mentioned that this is not how she would like the fight to end. Lastly, she also stated she wouldn’t apologize for as she hasn’t done anything wrong.
