Health-related topics are a norm on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. The podcaster is a fitness freak and loves to try out new ways of keeping himself healthy. In a new conversation with guest Max Lugavere in episode #1870, Rogan spoke about the one fitness habit that he swears by.

Both the personalities spoke about saunas and Rogan revealed it was an integral part of his routine. He said, “I think it’s one of the most important things that I do and I do it right after cardio too, so it maintains my high heart rate.”

“So like today, I did, I do a kettlebell workout and then I do the airdyne bike. So I go from the airdyne bike, right into the sauna. And I’m already sweating and exhausted and my heart started pounding as I get in there. And it’s 185 degrees. … my heart rate just stays compounding, stays pounding.”

Thus, Lugavere called the UFC commentator a ‘beast’. Rogan further said that as a 55-year-old, he is trying to maintain himself and saunas have helped him immensely.

He further said, “The one thing that’s shown to me to really have a benefit on the way I feel other than exercise. The way I just, my overall like, sense of wellbeing in my body is sauna and the cold plunge combination.”
