“I Don’t Care About Being Ugly”- Prominent UFC Reporter Helen Yee Hits Back at an Internet Troll

Famous UFC reporter Helen Yee has been in the business for a while. She has successfully gathered her own fanbase. Many fans love her interviews as she lets the fighters talk and also attentively listens to their perspectives.

However, like many famous people, she too has been a target of internet trolls; one of those being very recent.

The journalist recently posted a workout picture. A Twitter user commented, calling her ‘ugly’. Thus, Yee hit back with a fitting reply. She said, “I don’t care about being ugly! I care about being FAST AND STRONG. I’d rather have substance and purpose in life rather than just being “hot”.”

Fortunately, Kevin Iole, another big name in the combat sports community, attacked the Twitter user too and called them ‘classless’. Further, many of Yee’s fans also stood up for her. While some praised her, others advised her to ignore the trolls.

Helen Yee is perhaps one of the most well-known journalists in the MMA world and has tasted immense success. People have appreciated her work as well as the knowledge she has.

Moreover, the reporter also recently shared that she wants to fulfill her childhood dream of qualifying for the Olympic Trials in swimming. So it would be very interesting to follow her journey as an athlete.
