‘I Don’t Hate Jake Paul’- Dana White Makes a Shocking Claim

Dana White is one of the most influential personalities in the MMA world. However, many fighters still continue to have quarrels with him, outside and inside the UFC. The internet celebrity turned boxer, Jake Paul is one of the few people who openly disses Dana White and slams him in front of the media.

Paul and White have had some bad blood for a while now. In fact, Paul took a step ahead and put out a ‘diss track’, which was aimed at the UFC president. ‘The Problem Child’ has taken many jabs at White and has accused him of underpaying his fighters.

In a recent interview with Robbie Fox, Dana White spoke about Jake Paul and had a surprisingly pleasant claim to make. Fox asked White,” 24 hours in a room, let’s say the war room right there with either Darren Rovell or Jake Paul. Who are you picking?”

Dana answered, “Jake Paul all day long… Sitting here with Darren Rovell’s goofy a*s for f*cking 24 hours. Yeah, I’ll take Jake Paul. I don’t hate Jake Paul like everybody thinks I hate Jake Paul. You know what I mean, he’s a kid trying to make money. He’s doing his thing, he’s trying to make money.”

“The guy’s done all right for himself. He’s making some money. He’s doing his thing,” added White.

In his interview with Robbie Fox, White spoke about the impact that the fans have on deciding which fight wins the ‘Fight of the Night’ and ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus.

Fox asked White if he listens to the fans and takes a decision on who gets the bonus. To that, he answered,” we do. We definitely listen. Eric, who does my social media comes to me several times in the night to let me know what the fans are saying, what’s going on… We’re on top of the social media thing all night long during a fight. I always talk shi* but we listen to everything.”
