An exciting fighter that we’ll be seeing at Nurmagomedov’s Eagle FC 44 event is the former UFC light heavyweight champion, Rashad Evans. The veteran, who is a UFC Hall of Famer, recently appeared in the press conference of Eagle FC and spoke about his return to action.
Rashad Evans said, “I felt as if like it was just calling me, you know. I’ve been training for years ever since I stopped completing and it just felt like something was missing. It’s just something in my blood that I feel like I still need to get out of me. I enjoy being on the outside. I enjoy being an analyst and talking about the fights, but there’s nothing like going in there and feeling it.”

You know, there’s nothing like the process your mind and your body goes through when you’re in the training cramp and when you are out the fighting. I’m 43 years old and I don’t have an illusion of grandeur at all. I just looking for going out there and competing just having fun just letting it all hang out,” he added.

Who else will we see at Eagle FC?
Another exciting name that we will be seeing at Nurmagomedov’s promotion is the former UFC interim title contender, Kevin Lee. ‘The Motown Phenom’ will be fighting at the newly created 165 lbs division at the promotion. As he has depleted himself with a cut to 155 and could be slightly small for 170, 165 is more like his natural weight to fight at.

Khabib recently called out Dustin Poirier to come to his promotion after his recent loss at UFC 269, however, this seems highly unlikely.
