Speaking to Megan Olivi, ‘The Eagle’ said, “I become World Champion Combat Sambo I become 2-time World Champion Combat Sambo then I have 16 -0 outside the UFC.

“Then UFC sign me, and I have 13 wins streak become World Champion, like everything, I’m very happy about all my journey, you know. And right now I feel I don’t have nothing to prove, like to show people who I am like, I do everything in this sport.”

It’s true that his achievements inside the octagon remain unparalleled. But it’s tough for the fans to see the Russian legend walk away from the sport as he is only 32.

Many believe he was just starting to enter his prime as a fighter. Which explains why the fans have been longing to watch him make his way back to the octagon after he defended his title against Justin Gaethje and hung his gloves up.

What was going on between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Kevin Holland last night?

The Former UFC Lightweight Champion was in attendance for the UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs Holland card. The Dagestani star also streamed the main event between Kevin Holland and Derek Brunson on social media. However, Holland became somewhat obsessed with the Dagestani phenom’s presence during the fight.

‘Trailblazer’ kept asking the former lightweight champion for wrestling advice as he was getting taken down repeatedly by Brunson.

It would have been better for Holland had he concentrated on the fight more as he dropped a unanimous decision to his rival. Nevertheless, it was yet another night in the retired life of ‘The Eagle‘.
