‘I Don’t Know Man’-Dana White Unsure if Conor McGregor Will Retire if He Loses to Dustin Poirier

Conor McGregor is all set to face Dustin Poirier at the UFC 264 event. This fight will be the third and final fight between the two fighters. Both Poirier and McGregor would love to win this fight and secure the trilogy victory.
There is much excitement leading up to the fight and fans are excited to see these two fighters compete in the ring. However, even before the fight has taken place, many fans are speculating as to what ‘Notorious’ will do after this fight. Many think that McGregor might retire after the fight, while others think he will challenge for the title.
Recently during an interview, Dana White was asked about the same. White talked about how he knows this fight is very important for McGregor and that he is unsure of what ‘Notorious’ will do next.

“I don’t know, man, whether the pressure is there on Conor or not. It just depends on what Conor wants to do after this fight, win, lose or draw. And I don’t know the answer to that question, only Conor does.
“Does Conor want to become the No.1 contender again does he want to fight for the belt. Does he want to win that title or is he looking at maybe this is my last run and then I retire? I don’t know what he’s thinking what’s in his head but obviously, if you look at this thing, if he wants to take another title run, it’s a very big fight, a very important fight and to get the best of the trilogy, you know his important for his legacy.”
What to expect from the fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier?
McGregor and Poirier first faced each other at the UFC 178 event. ‘Notorious’ won that fight via a first-round TKO. Since that fight, fans had been eagerly waiting for the fighters to compete again. Their wish came true in 2021 when Poirier and McGregor fought at the UFC 257 event. This time around Poirier won the fight via a 2nd round TKO.

Poirier’s victory meant that the score was settled at 1-1 and a final fight was expected by everyone. Finally, the third fight between them was scheduled for the UFC 264 event.
