A former UFC title challenger gave his honest thoughts on a violent encounter between Arkansas police officers and a guy after their video went viral on the internet.

In the video, we can see three police officers punching and kneeing a person flat on the ground. According to reports, those officers, including two Crawford County deputies and one officer with the Mulberry Police Department, have been removed from duty after the video made rounds on the internet. 

Ex-UFC welterweight contender, Jake Shields, commented on the incident by reposting it on Twitter. “I don’t know the backstory on what happened before This but definitely not a good look,” Shields wrote in the caption.

As per the reports made by CNN, the man was sought after in a nearby town for reportedly threatening a gas station employee. After being located in Mulberry, the individual cooperated at first before attempting to attack the officers, which resulted in the altercation captured on camera. The reports further stated that the suspect is facing several charges.

The former middleweight champion of Strikeforce is infamous for his boldness on Twitter. On his official Twitter account, he has previously discussed a wide range of divisive subjects. As a result, he immediately shared the footage on his account.

Ex-UFC fighter Jake Shields backed controversial writer J. K. Rowling on Twitter.

The Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu representative known for his bluntness on Twitter once backed the famous Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling after a Twitter user lashed out at her.

The British author once made headlines for all the wrong reasons. She received heavy backlash for her controversial comments on a particular community. Referring to the same a Twitter user took a jibe at Rowling.

“JK Rowling really could have just remained a wealthy, beloved author for the rest of her life. And she chose Twitter instead. Incredible.” She wrote.

However, the ex-UFC fighter wasn’t buying it. He quickly responded with a blunt replying while backing the Harry Potter author. “She just truth over delusion.” Shields wrote.

Shields further went on to explain his support for the British author with a few more tweets. Given his bold nature, the former UFC fighter sometimes faces criticism for his statements. However, he is unfazed by it and continues to talk about controversial topics.
