UFC is one of the toughest places to survive for an athlete. However, one name that has defied these odds is none other than Khamzat Chimaev. ‘Borz’ in his UFC career has risen to quick fame. Chimaev has proved his mettle by competing in two different weight classes. While ‘Borz’ is dominating in the welterweight division, the potential of him moving up is high. Keeping that in mind, UFC middleweight, Robert Whittaker, spoke about a potential fight between him and Chimaev.

In a fan Q&A, Whittaker said, “It would be tricky. Like, I would be firing those kicks down the middle like you would not believe. I don’t think my right foot would touch the mat.”

He further added, “He’s a tough guy. I fought wrestlers before though. I fought with Yoel Romero. He’s a silver medalist, you know, granted he’s not that sort of type of grappling game. But, I guess that’s something I really haven’t thought about and I would have to try and digest when we get there sort of thing.”
